My Review Doppelbanger by Heather M. Orgeron

Doppelbanger; A person who bangs someone solely because they look similar to another person they want to bang.

At thirty-five, Gina Bourque is still playing the field. If he's single, in his early twenties with dark hair and brooding eyes, there's a damn good chance you'll find him in her little black book.

Jeffrey Ryan never imagined that at nearly forty he'd find himself widowed and a single dad. But here he is--stumbling through this thing called life with two impressionable daughters watching his every move.

When Gina and Jeffrey meet while cruising the Caribbean, sparks fly and not in a good way. He's too old. Too blond. Too stiff. Yet she's still drawn to him like a moth to a flame. She's too vulgar. Too sassy. Too wild. But she ignites something inside of him he can't ignore.

We all know what happens when you play with fire. . . someone's bound to get burned.

My Review
5 Stars

What in the ever loving hell did I just read. This book is in a class of it's own, it was hysterical. Gina the heroine is my new mother effin hero. She was hilarious and boy did she have balls.
Gina is a single 35 year old woman who meets Jeffrey on a cruise with her 3 Godsons. Jeffrey is an uptight widow and father of 2 girls. Their first meeting does not go over so well but Gina's blatant persistence has them winding up between the sheets.
Alas the cruise is over but Gina and Jeffrey seem to keep running into each other. Jeffrey is continually shocked by Gina's outspoken personality and Gina is trying to show Jeffrey how to loosen up his laces. If you think you know what I mean by Gina's "outspoken personality" I assure you don't. I'll leave you with this as an example.

"Is it wet in here?" I ask, nibbling my bottom lip seductively.
Jeffrey's face screws up in confusion as he looks around the elevator, finally landing on my face. "No."
"Oh, my bad. Must just be my vagina."

Yeah so there's that, this chick is everything. Anyway if you're looking for a fun filled book that will have you cracking up check this book out. I will definitely be reading more of Heather Orgeron's books in the near future!
