M's Review of Like A Boss by Logan Chance

My new boss is the same man I just had a one-night stand with.

Theo Sullivan is the new boss of The Lopa, a classy tiki bar in the heart of South Beach, Miami.
Little does he know, a certain bartender doesn’t think he has what it takes to make it.

Personalities collide as Penelope Marks goes against the boss and tries her hardest to defy him.

Theo is determined to be a success.
Penny is determined not to lose.

What happens if these two get more than they bargained for?
What if the one person you want more than ever is the one person you hate even more?

My Review
★★★★
4 Stars

My reviews have been royally sucking lately so bear with me here.😒😒
First let me say that I've rarely read romance books written by men. There is no rhyme or reason, it isn't intentional, I'm just stating the facts. I'm glad I read this and anyone that says a man can't write romance as well as a woman is full of shit and hasn't found a good male author to read. I urge you to check out Logan Chance!

We are introduced to Theo and Penelope at the bar she works at. Theo was looking for a quick fuck and became captivated with bartender Penelope. I'm pretty sure you can guess what happens next.
Come the next morning Theo wakes to find himself alone and tries to find Penelope again only to be told that she doesn't work at the bar where they initially met.

Fast forward a few months and Penny finds herself working at a new bar and low and behold the new owner is none other than Theo. (view spoiler)

I love Theo and Penny's banter, she gives just as good as she gets and anyone that knows me knows that I LOOOOVVVVEEEE a strong heroine in a book.

I don't want to add anything else because I fear it will give away too much. This ended on a mega cliffhanger and I can't wait to see how this story plays out!
