Review of Talon by Carian Cole

relationship experiment that lets experts find your perfect spouse? Sign me up. Sounds great, right? I thought so, too...until I saw a rock star waiting at the altar for me.

Caring. Hard-working. A devoted family man, loves kids.
Clean cut, funny, smart, quiet, but a good communicator.
~ Asia Jenson

Independent. Tall, blonde, sexy. Outgoing. Intelligent, neat. Unslutty. Confident. Loves to travel. Committed.
~ Talon Valentine

The concept was scary but exciting...
Marry a total stranger.
Live together for six months.
Journal everything. (Feelings. Fights. All of it.)
After six months, we each get $50K in trade for our journals, whether we stay married or not. But the

goal is to commit to the experience and see if the relationship experts could put together the perfect matches.
I have never been lucky in love. This was my chance to find my soulmate.
I couldn't wait to meet the man the experts felt was perfect for me.
My hopes were immediately dashed when I saw him at the altar.

Shit. I married my worst nightmare.

My Review
5 Star Review

Another new to me author, yay I'm on a mother effin role here. I have to be honest when I first learned that Talon was a rock star I was like ugh only because I typically don't care for those types of romances.
I always assume it's going to be the same old story, guy gets with girls, guy gets caught with groupies, blah, blah, blah but this wasn't anything like that.
I was drawn in to the whole marrying someone blindly that I needed to see where this would go.
Talon and Asia couldn't be any more opposite, she wants a family man who doesn't use drugs/alcohol with no tattoos and definitely not long hair. Talon wants a tall blonde with big boobs basically.
The two of them decide that they're going to give this a real shot. Stay married for the contracted 6 months and then see where they go from there. Asia was insecure at times and while this usually bothers me, she didn't make it a weakness, it was almost more of a realness and I really liked that. They had normal struggles that you would expect in this situation but they also had great chemistry and the angst and emotion was definitely there.

"I think that once you two stop thinking about what you were expecting, that you'll see what you were given is even better."

Even though I read this series out of order I definitely want to go back and read all about Talon's brothers!
